First of all, my issue was not with Donavan. Donovan was great and even explained things when the mechanic made an error on my report. My problem was when my car was done. When my car was done, my husband noticed the alloy wheels were covered in tire installation fluid which has been a consistent problem. Donovan was not available so someone else came to see and offered to take it inside to clean. When we came back that person told us the stuff does not come off, it’s from a third party and there was nothing they could do. My husband then showed him that it would come off with his bare hand. It was obvious no one used a rag to even try. The person who was helping us starting arguing with my husband. All we asked was that our vehicle be returned in the same condition we brought it in. This has been an ongoing problem the last few times we have had tires changed over. The gentleman then stated that maybe we should go someplace else next time. Whether he agreed there was an issue or not, that was poor customer service. I might add there was another customer in the service bay while this was happening. Then the employee said to my husband that next time we bring in one of our vehicles it is up to us to tell the service advisor we don’t want our wheels left clean. Why should we have to tell you to return the car in the same condition we brought it? We have bought/leased several vehicles between your dealerships and have never been treated this way.

Tanya was so friendly and helpful. I was surprised to hear, which Tanya kindly let me know upon arrival, that techs do not start work until 8am. A little confused why I was schedule for a 7:30 waiting appointment then, however I was on my way in about an hour which met my expectations regardless. Just some feedback on scheduling.

I don’t need someone to reach out. Victoria was very sweet. She was helpful and answered questions I had. My grip is in the scheduling process and in the paperwork upon completion of service. Neither of which are people oriented. Scheduling through the website was so confusing because my vehicle was listed twice. It didn’t have a place to write comments and it forced options that didn’t make sense. When I tried to use the chat box the chat said I was all scheduled and then someone called me to schedule. Sooo annoying and not conducive to me staying with Handy service beyond my paid services. Then after my car was done and I was walked to my car. I was given the paperwork. The paperwork states that the “customer states” blah blah but in reality it’s the mechanic that serviced my car that stated what the issues were, not me so that was confusing. Then it also said that there were recommendations for service needs but it was stated as if those things were handled, I can’t remember the words. It was so confusing I had to go back inside and ask to interpret the paperwork. Again, Victoria was sweet. But neither piece should be so un-user friendly as to actually be complicated. I’m a smart individual. The system needs fixing.
