Had new tire installed after blow out. Ordered tire and it arrived within 3 days. I arrived at the dealership and dropped off the car at service department. Was told tire change would take 1 hour. Jacob called to tell me the car was ready. Came back and unable to find Jacob. Another service advisor said the tire was not in stock and was on order. After a delay I finally found Jacob. Followed Jacob to the car and jokingly asked ‘let’s check for the spare tire’ and it was not in the car. Jacob did go to the service area and did retrieve the tire. Then when I went to pay, the cost was more than the quoted price. If I had left the dealership without checking for the spare tire, I am wondering when I would have known it was not there and if I would have gotten the spare back.
