When I called to make my appointment, I mentioned that my car had a hard time starting. Over the phone I was told that they would look over the car and do a full inspection. When I picked it up, the guy told me that a diagnostic appointment would take longer and cost $100. In addition, I had a coupon for a free tire rotation and oil change. He said I could only use one, I asked which service was cheaper he said the tire rotation, took the coupon and instead of my total being $149, it was $93. If that is the case, then an oil change would be $56, but why was I told when I called that they were $79? Everything about my service seemed unsettling to me.

I was surprised to hear that Toyota of Whittier was under new ownership and new customer service personnel. I was helped by Francisco Diaz who greeted me with a very polite “good morning”. I was there Saturday morning, my appointment was at 7 for an oil change and new spark plugs. Unfortunately I had to have my car towed back to the dealer because all the oil leaked out.
