I don’t feel like Fabian cared about us or communicating with me at all. I never received a phone call letting me know what was wrong with my car. Never was informed what was going to be done to my car. I received a short voicemail saying around 3:30 saying my car was ready but service closed at 5. No explanation or anything. I called back several times and the phone just rang continuously. Saturday morning when we went to pick up my car. He wasn’t friendly and when I said I was there to pick up my car. He wasn’t friendly short and asked who was helping me. I said him. He literally said name. Nothing else. Gave my name and he said yes and went to charge us the $275 service fee still with no explanation of what was done to my car. It was horrible experience and I may take my car to another Hyundai because of Fabian. I’ve had great service in the past and always felt comfortable but this experience made me uncomfortable my husband didn’t understand why he was cold and dismissive either.

Really appreciated the team in service taking my car in as I did not have an appointment. My dash board went out as it had before and I’ve made appointments but it then fixed itself so was never able to diagnose what was wrong. Yesterday it happened again and I went in just to see what could be done. They took my car in and figured out what the issue was and it will be replaced as soon as the part is back in stock. The service department and staff at CardinaleWay Glendora are always top tier. I appreciate the professionalism and great service I get there! The problem I have is with the ownership charging an additional 3% fee on top of the service charge to use a credit card as payment. You’re a multi-million/billion dollar company. Stop pushing that additional cost onto the consumer! That’s what small Mom & Pop shops do to stay in business. I respectfully request that you stop this practice and absorb the fee into your company as the cost of doing business. I am a loyal CardinaleWay Hyundai customer. I’ve purchased several automobiles from your dealership and have all warranty service performed there over the past 20+ years. I am just one person, so do with this what you will, but I have a choice and I will find another dealership that appreciates and respects my business by eating that additional cost. Fabian was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to make sure I understood the process for the total replacement of the transmission that needed to be replaced after only 52,000 miles for a 2021 palisade.. he reached out to Hyundai USA explain the situation and got the service completely covered. Otherwise it would’ve cost more than $6000 mostly probably for Labor so I’m very appreciative of his assistance. He also called and kept me updated and procured a rental car while my vehicle was being fixed. Did a great job. He’s a great service rep.

On Wed. When I dropped off the vehicle at 7am, Saul told me give him a few hours to get an update for me. After not receiving an update, I called NUMEROUS times. The AI answering service makes it nearly impossible to talk to a staff member, let alone leave a message. So frustrating. I was hung up on one of these calls after being placed on hold. Finally got an update just before 4pm, that the tech would need smoother 3 hours to tear down the vehicle……that meant needing it another day since the shop closes at 6pm. I had to pivot and juggle my and my wife’s day for the next day on a dime, with little notice. Then trying to get an update the following day too was a great challange and more frustrating. Communication goes a long way. Then when I pick up the vehicle, Saul told me he would show me the location of the issue when I got there to pick it up. I told him I would be there in the 5:00 hour to get it. What he didn’t tell me is that he not a technician would be there when I was in the 5:00 hour. Alison left a message to call me Friday about this. Juggling my day again for Friday, receiving no call from Saul, I went to the service dept. Saul was off. Only then did Alison have the technician Charlie come out to show me the issue location on the vehicle. 3 days of POOR communication and a helpless AI answering system. The service dep. plays a huge factor in the decision process for us when deciding to purchase a new vehicle.
