As I said to Ryan, the reason for my trouble was leaving my key fob in my vehicle in my garage. The problem as I see it lies with not being told this when I bought the truck….seriously? who reads the owners manual cover to cover? This is a problem with Toyota not a service department or salesperson

The app needs to match actual costs. I went in to this appointment knowing it would cost $1000 but then I show up and I’m told it will be more. Then I approve a few additional costs and the app states $1300 when the bill was actually $2300. I will say management made it right by bringing the cost down a little bit it was still much more than the $1300 I was seeing and approving online.

I minimally spoke with my service advisor, I did speak with a manager and with another advisor at pickup. The problem was successfully diagnosed however the amount if time needed to correct the issue was too lengthy to be resolved in one day. I took my vehicle home to reschedule an appointment at a later time.
