I was beyond pleased with my service rep. She was very friendly and very helpful. I did not feel she could’ve done any better of a job. However, I was very disappointed at the price of the battery and that you only sell seven batteries. My car is 2002, so I certainly did not want a seven year battery. Plus I did an AI check, and they said the average price for a seven year battery was about $117. Mine came to almost $300. Then, it said that there was a super battery that cost $267 which I am assuming that I received. I wish I would’ve been given an option for a cheaper one because of the age of my car. Very, very disappointed in being charged that much for a battery.

My Highlander originally needed a water pump and thermostat replacement, and I picked up my vehicle after it was supposed to be fixed, and it was leaking antifreeze. I had to bring it back to figure out what was wrong with it. I didn’t hear anything all day Monday, and then I got a voicemail Tuesday it was ready to be picked up. I do appreciate the problem was resolved at no charge, but when I picked up my vehicle again, the bar that holds open the hood was placed on my front seat. I have no idea how to fix that. Thank goodness the nice guy who checks people in fixed it right away. I have never had a bad experience at Toyota. I just feel like either my vehicle was rushed to get fixed or put off and it wasn’t that big of a deal.

I told the person I checked in with (not Stephanie) that I wanted to keep all four old tires and that message was not communicated to anyone. I asked about it when I came to pick up the vehicle. Stephanie had a guy help me find the tires in a pile. I would like to be considered for a refund if the $30 tire disposal fee that I paid. Otherwise, the new tires are great and I have confidence in the work done.

Today I did not have a great customer service experience. The service writer was having difficulty updating my phone number in the system for texting updates. All messages kept going to my husband and he would forward them to me. I brought this up to her 3 different times and she was never successful with the change. I was also the only waiting customer whose service writer did not come talk to them in person. She communicated only via text messages and I would have to go find her. Lastly, I was disappointed in the $149 diagnostic fee. This seems excessive for something that is easily diagnosed. Given that I had my car repaired the same day as diagnosed, it seems that this fee could be discounted (at a minimum) or even waived. I was disappointed in the overall price, considering 50% of the price were services fee accumulated in under 2 hours. Until today, I’ve been very pleased with service provided. Unfortunately, today was not a great experience.
