Radiator cap is clearly leaking coolant. Stains around the radiator cap, and there are drips down the fan casing, on the exhaust manifold, and on the bottom of the engine bay. These are all easy to see on inspection. Smell of coolant when car is turned off after driving. There is still the gurgling sound that was attempted to diagnose (but cause not found) when I brought the car in for maintenance in March. Sounds like it may be air bubbles in coolant. Scheduled maintenance for green service, plus filter replacement, and coolant fluid exchange were performed in March, and I asked that a rattling/gurgling sound be addressed, thinking it might be a loose heat shield. Attempted diagnosis at $190 was performed, with no cause as to the sound to be determined. The inspection report specifically states that “cooling system (leaks)” is “OK” which is obviously not the case. Replacement of a radiator cap that is more than 10 years old with 150k miles on it should be expected. At this time, it would appear that the cause of the rattling, gurgling sound is most likely to be air entering the cooling system, which could cause engine overheating, and that the service tech missed the obvious radiator cap leak during inspection. At this time, I am requesting replacement of the original radiator cap with a new one and purging of air from the cooling system, at no additional cost to me, since it should have been noticed and serviced before.

2 issues: Although we arrived on time for our appt, which was a tire rotation and fluid top-off the car wasn't ready until an hour and 40 minutes later. Also our service rep had left to go to lunch without informing his coworker so although I received an message that the car was finished no one knew anything about it.

Although the damage ended up being covered it required getting into a yelling match with the service manager. I am not the only one to have their vehicle damaged by the automatic wash at Findlay locations in Flagstaff. You guys need to ask if people want their car washed even if it's free!
