I brought my car in ONLY because of a recall. When I was called about the recall, I was informed that the part would be in. When I dropped off my car, I also was under the impression that the part was in. While at home I received a text that my car would be ready that evening, but they also found I needed 2 new air filters, to the tune of $264.47. I okayed that service. Later that evening I found out that the recall part was not in stock. I felt tricked into bringing my car in for 2 expensive filters. Lexus however took good care of me, with a loaner car and service. I would have rather skipped the whole process.

In the past, Ali would make sure we had bottled water in the car, rug protectors and plenty of “thank you” items in the car when you were getting ready to leave. My text message about my car being ready was never sent till the day after service and pick up. I also wasn’t told whether or not I should make my next appointment.

Was told the service would be 2-3 hours. Instead it was more than 6 hours- no heads-up or communication. They didn’t even send estimate for all the extra work until more than 3 hours after I dropped it off. It’s ok if it takes a long time, as long as the customer knows that. Also- a million add-ons that more than tripled the original estimate, per usual. Customer service needs a lot of improvement. Will seek out a different service center next time.
