When I scheduled the 15,000 mile service, we discussed the minor issues I have had with my 2024 Tundra. Specifically - the rear center seatbelt alarm goes off and I buckle that belt to quiet it. It was indicated that the tech could take a look at it with the tire rotation (15k mile service). While checking in, we asked about the seatbelt. We were told it was in the notes to look at it. Then we were told they would need the truck a minimum of 3-4 hours to look at the seat belt issue. Obviously, we could not wait 4 hours in the lobby. Then, when the truck service was complete, the service department did not inform my wife waiting in the waiting area that it was complete. Instead, they called my phone to let me know, and I had to call her to let her know.

I was the first one there at 730 in the morning, service manager told me my car would for sure be done by my 1130 lunch break, he said it was super fast and easy, maybe an hour tops. I started getting emails around 9am saying they were working on my car and it needed air filters I said no to that service. So 1130 rolls around with no word. I call 2 times with no answer. So I finally show up at 12:15, to everyone saying we don't know why its not done. It should have been done hours ago. Finally at 1pm I get to my car, witch has oil glove prints all over the driver door and under the driver window i finally rolled out of the shop got back to work 15 minutes late from my lunch. So I did not have a good experience nor will I recommend anyone coming to Evans toyota, and if I ever come back I will request Hailee smith never touches my vehicle while it's there.

I have been there twice in last 6 months to program a new key fob. They said fob was bad. They said I needed to get different fob that they said would work. Needed to be ordered. It took 6 months to come in. Frankly I gave up. Thought it got lost. Got call new fob in. Went in yesterday and they couldn’t program it. They wanted me to buy $170 to run diagnostics to see what the problem was. Why should I pay. It is your failure. This is after a 2 hour wait. No customer service. U run diagnostics and then tell me what’s wrong. Maybe I would pay for that part. U guys are supposed to be the best. U couldn’t program 3 different fobs over a 6 month period. I’m not happy.

Our vehicle wasn’t fixed when we came to pick it up and it wasn’t clean either. Brand new sunroof would open but it wouldn’t close and also had dirty fingerprints all over the roof liner. John was great to work with and communicated timely and often. Our issue isn’t with him, it was with whoever actually did the work. Hopefully we do not have more issues with the fix they did to our sunroof in the future…that’s our fear.

While removing thw skid plate the mechanic broke a bolt. Without letting me know they put the hardware in the bed of the truck one bold was missing and 3 clips that attacked the grill to the skid plate. That was after 3hrs wait. Very poor service.
