I arrived without an appointment as I merely needed a replacement battery and the service department was required versus the parts department as an adjustment based on a prorate was allowed. Even though very busy on that morning, Nick remained calm and attentive to my concerns and made a generous prorated offer and I was on my way within an hour. Both Nick and Scott have the right temperament and professionalism in dealing with the customers of Carlson Toyota in today’s hectic environment.

Did you know tires can gain tread? I didn’t either. My last visit I was told that I should think about new tires in the next year because mine were in the yellow. I bought my tires from you and they’re not only less than a year old, three of them are less than 9 months old. Today, however, your tire expert said mine look great and we’re in the green. You know people don’t trust mechanics, right? Any guesses why? I was in for a tire pressure alert. Apparently the weather change is responsible for one tire losing 10 PSI. Hmm…ok. So I spent 2 hours there getting a little air out in the tyre abd having a key fob battery changed. What a waste of time.

Tire sensor light comes on even when tires are okay. Wanted the sensor fixed so it didn’t contaminate to give false readings - I was told for the 5th time about how the tire warning light comes on due to changes in temperature. No effort made to fix my sensor so that it only indicates when there is a real problem with tire pressure!

I understand that I have a Honda and you are a Toyota shop, however the question was specifically asked when the appointment was made when I bought the car whether or not your mechanics would be able to work on the car. They knew on Friday that Honda fluid would need to be brought in. There was no excuse for the 4 hour wait time today when I was told it would take an hour. I also wish there was more communication. I got the text that my car was checked in and wasn’t updated until I asked for one in person over two hours later.
Your staff is friendly and they seem to have done a good job on the car but this could have been a smoother process.

The check in person this service trip did not take serious my request to check my left front tire for a nail or reason for that tire having lost tire pressure to 28, 2 days before. There was confusion over n how to measure tire tread. The vehicle is only two years old and 30,000 miles on the rotated tires per requirements and one person told us they were unsafe to drive on after one person said they were measuring at 5/6.
I had another complaint listed on my maintenance request and it just wasn’t coordinated enough at the garage so now we have to come back again for that issue.
All this coupled with the fact that the first time I brought the vehicle in for scheduled service, it was bumped into, dented, and scratched somehow just makes me a little Leary of the service there. The scratch and dent were adequately fixed but not perfect. My brand new vehicle! I was devastated.
I am hopeful it’ll get better.
