The representatives were great. The customer service was great. I didn’t like the result. I’ve paid a total of $440 for two diagnostics just for someone to tell me rodents got to my wires and it’s not covered under a warranty. I’ve lived in the same neighborhood for 30 years and I’ve not once seen a rat or mouse. A few of my neighbors, have the same model Accord and not one of them has the same issue. I was told the wiring was made of soy. That sounds like faulty wiring to me.

The service was fine, the communication was really poor. It started out OK and then as the repairs got started there were no updates. I texted the service manager several times letting them know that we needed an estimated time of completion, as we use the car for commuting to work, and still received no updates. I had to call the corporate office and scream at them to even get out in touch with somebody in the actual Oakland location. I'm sure Chris is busy but 6, 8, 10 hours with no update for customers is unacceptable

Once call was ready I called to get a ride back. Was transferred to “cashier” and was on hold 22 min. Finally hung up and called back was on hold another 17 min. Ended up paying to get an Uber ride. I use Honda knowing rides are available. Next time may use a local service shop.

I drop my car off at Oakland Honda to get the rear liftgate repaired. Already approved the repair and quality auto body was supposed to come over and pick it up. They didn’t come to pick it up until the next afternoon after I called Caul to find out what was happening Because Honda Oakland kept saying that they’re on their way to pick it up 24 hours before they actually picked it up to fix it. I don’t know if the fault lies with quality auto body or with my representative at Honda, but it was a lot of micromanaging me to actually get it done.
The other thing I’ve been trying to get done is a recall on the battery cables, which could cause a fire. I asked to be informed six months ago when the parts came in and nobody ever contacted me to tell me the parts had come in. Luckily the parts happen to be there, and the recall was Performed. Big hassle for me and my rep couldn’t really provide any compensation meaningful to me.
