When I brought my 2021 pilot in, which only has 52,000 miles on it and we purchased it certified pre owned, I was informed that the thermostat was the issue and that it was not covered under the warranty. When I informed
Tyler that it was covered, he simply replied that he put it in the system and it came back as no. He then informed me that the thermostat was not part of the powertrain, so it wasn’t covered. I then told him again that it was and had to go get the warranty book out of the car, before I showed him he did agree to check with a manager, keep in mind that Tyler is the assistant manager. After 30 minutes he got back to me and said it was indeed covered. If I didn’t have more knowledge than the assistant manager, I would have been out close to $700. If you are going to have your employees only depending on what the computer spits out then you are doing your customers a HUGE disservice. If they are working in the service department they should really have the BASIC knowledge of engine parts. Please educate your employees so they can actually be of service to your customers.

Tyler is very knowledgeable & friendly but again I leave after service, get 5 miles down the road & the tire pressure light goes on. This has happened multiple times. I know it is probably fine but this car is driven by my teenage son & I need to know this car is safe. It does not give me confidence that all of the other service done on the car is done properly.
