The recall work was completed today on my RAV4 Prime, which I appreciate Toyota honoring. The recall instructions describe two levels of correction. The basic level is to install a protective boot over the rear electric motor connection if the connection is not corroded. If corrosion is present, the recall notice states that the entire cable should be replaced. I have photos of the connection showing corrosion prior to the recall service. I was hoping that Toyota would issue the recall. It appears that only the boot was installed and the cable was not replaced as outlined in the recall instructions. Thank you for following up.

Ashton was great. Some of the other team members seemed a little less friendly though. One of the ladies working asked Ashton if his pants were unzipped or something and you could tell he was embarrassed by it. She didn’t say it privately.

Arrived at Toyota South for a door lock actuator repair. Was quoted a price to replace it to which I said it was warranty repair. Then, told me they didn’t have the part and it would have to be ordered and I would have to schedule another appointment after taking off from work. Then, they found the part that was held for the repair. I go in and wait a little over an hour and they come back to tell me it’s they held the wrong part and it would have to be ordered. I am yet to hear if this part has been ordered or what their plan of action is to get this fixed. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the customer experience manager. I bought this car based on the good service I had experienced in the past. It seems there’s been a change that is not a positive one lately!

While the mechanical service was completed, my vehicle was returned in an unacceptable state. My wheel lock key is missing. This is a significant safety and liability concern, as I am now unable to change a tire in an emergency. I am requesting that the service team locate my original key or provide a replacement set. Personal items from my dashboard storage were found scattered across the floor of the car. Returning a guest’s vehicle in this condition shows a complete breakdown in quality control and respect for property. I would like a service manager to contact me regarding the retrieval of my wheel lock key.
