The customer service Vanessa provided was excellent. I was dissatisfied with the estimated charges for the repair. As I said when I picked up my vehicle, in a world of information it's simple to determine how many hours it takes for a specific repair. The hours estimated for my car was 2.9 @ $147 per hour. The job is a 1 to 1.5-hour job, at most. Additionally, original mopar parts can be found for less than half the cost quoted. So I believe the charges to be at least 50% higher than they should be. The parts being replaced were pulleys and tensioner arms necessary to run the serpentine belt. A part that is required for the car to run. However, the quote did not include a new belt. I find this unacceptable. Why would you take off an old belt and not replace it with a new one? Everyone is entitled to make a profit, however, I think this profit margin was excessive. I still believe Akins to be the best dealership around and this will not stop me from purchasing cars in the future if you have what I need. Thanks
