They were excellent! They screwed in a plastic piece that had come loose , changed my oil and balanced my tires. I absolutely loved the waiting area because it is spread out and has plenty of room to work read and of course grab a latte or soda. I’ll be back! Thank you Akins Ford

I never even knew this facility was there. We got a nail in our tire and my husband found it online - still not knowing it was part of Akins Ford. When I pulled in I wasn’t sure I could be there because I didn’t buy my car there. Everybody I talked with was extremely kind and helpful. We will be back for oil changes. I loved the free ice cream too!

I have a 2018 ford expedition with 55,000 miles and the shocks have gone bad twice. Once at 42,000 miles and recently the EXACT SAME ONES at 55,000 miles. But not only have the back two gone out, also the front now. At 55,000 miles. Ford gets away with not taking responsibility for replacing them because they say Ford says that normal wear is 50,000-100,000 miles. COME ON IM AT 55,000 and on the second set. The service manager even told me that the weight of the vehicle alone was bad on the shocks. Which means that ford does not make their products good enough to handle the weight of the vehicle they are being put on. This is some crap if I have ever heard of. AND…… they say if one shock goes out they suggest to replace both. But that only pertains if you’re paying out of pocket for it. Since now on my vehicle, since one has gone bad,, AGAIN, they are not recommending it now. They gave me this crap when these shocks went out at 42,000 miles. They gave me the choice …”if I paid for one they would pay for the other”. If they say their parts should last 50,000-100,000 miles, why did I have to even pay for one !! FORD DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!! Oh and I forgot to mention this is the second expedition I had. The first was such a lemon they actually bought it back. Of course though it was a huge fight to even make that happen. Long story short….. DO NOT BUY FORD AND DO NOT BUY FROM AKINS IN WINDER!! They are not there for the customer but only for the owner to make a buck at the expense of someone else’s bad fortune from buying the crappy products they sell and promote. I wished 10000x over I had bought Chevy. I will not make this mistake again. And anyone I can tell and give advice too. I will do my best to steer them away from ford and from Akins in Winder.
