I arrived at 1:48 PM for a 1:45 PM appointment. My first text to update me on the status of my vehicle was after 4:26 PM. My appointment was for an oil change, tire rotation, check my rearview mirror and replace a plastic piece on my driver side seat that has cracked for the second time. Would over 2 1/2 hours be satisfactory for you to wait?

I think you should have your service managers call on a loud speaker or come to the waiting area to find the customer when their service is complete. Or even give a phone call (not text) to let them know their vehicle is ready, especially if it is noted in the system they are waiting for the vehicle (after all, they ask us that when we drop it off.) Today, I was sent the text with the link the checklist of my vehicle at 10:15. My appt was at 9:30. I received a text at 10:35 that I could come check out. However, I didn't see that second text bc it came in right under the big text with the vehicle checklist link, so it kind of "blended in" on my phone screen (looked like all one text). Finally at close to 11:40, I was walking to speak to the service manager to ask about my car when I noticed the small text "come on down to check out" sent an hour earlier. I explained that I didn't see the text and that I thought they came and got the customer in the waiting area. He said that they have been using the text system for 2 years. I was serviced at LC Toyota over the summer since moving back to LC in June, and the last time, they came and got me. Micheal wasn't rude, and I understand y'all were really busy, but I think just trying to find the customer after they don't respond to the text is not a huge ask. Especially if it's an hour later and they don't come to the desk to check out. We are loyal LC Toyota customers (this is our third vehicle with you guys). Again, not a massive inconvenience, but also, I stayed over an hour after I should have, waiting on my car that was already done.

I wish you would bring back the shuttle. I really appreciated being taken to work and being productive there while you worked on my car. It also was an incentive for me to drop my car off early. Please bring it back.
