I brought my car in on Thu 31 Oct because the low tire air pressure light had come on. The Toyota team said they checked it and there was no puncture, just that all the tires had low pressure and so they topped them all up and sent me on my way. On Friday 24 hrs later the low tire air pressure light came on again but it was 7pm and Toyota was closed. I was nearly home and thought I’ll check it out on Monday as I was planning to go to Houston. However I thankfully didn’t use the car for that trip because this morning Tues 5th Nov I found a huge screw right in the middle of the fwd right tire and had to get roadside assistance to change the tire. I came to Toyota to get it fixed and told Bart about the lapse in checking the tire properly on Thursday and the potential for me to have had a serious car crash should it have gone flat on a highway at high speed. It was a very obvious nail and it could only be that the tire wasn’t checked at all on Thursday. The person who did that check should be talked to as the next time they are careless it could result in serious injury or even loss of life. Vanessa
