My vehicle is leaking oil and it was NOT doing that when
I took it to the shop. I am going back out there today.
I was told I needed an air filter and oil filter. I was only at the shop because oil maintenance alert
came on. Was told I would need an oil change
in October. In talking to guys I know they told me you normally get
oil filter when you get your oil changed. This was my husband’s
vehicle who passed last December. To me the
oil filter should have never been touched if
I was not getting an oil change. Now I have
to go back out there because of someone’s
poor work. On top of that if I had not notice
the oil leak this could have possibly caused
engine trouble down the line! It’s a 2021 4 Runner.

Wish I would have been given a choice on what type of oil (conventional or synthetic) and I certainly wouldn't have willingly paid $130 for an oil change. Also, the glove box rod mechanism was left off. Not happy at all

Selena did a great job. I was quoted $409.00 for 2 front end struts installed from the gentleman across the other counter. Selena checked his calculations and informed me it would be $998.00 instead! It’s still going to be done. I was taken by surprise by such a difference in price. I’m just a cashier trying to keep my 2012 Rav 4 in good shape. This is my 3rd Toyota purchased from Mike Smith Toyota. I’ve always had confidence in having my car serviced there. I would like to continue doing so.
