My issue is small but regardless I felt like commenting. The mechanic forgot to reset the check engine light after my oil change. Right now it’s still showing at 10% with the engine light on, naturally I didn’t know the mechanics have to physically turn this off for the oil % to jump back to 100% so I initially was pissed thinking I got charged for an oil change that wasn’t done during my service (as you can probably imagine it’s no fun going through emotions like that). So I called and was informed that the oil change was actually done but they need to turn it off the check engine light and that I needed to go back in so they could take care of this. Now I have to take time out of my busy week to drive back to Honda just to have this light turned off so the oil change will register with my system so it adjusts the oil back to 100%. Obviously this is an inconvenience because it’s time and gas it will cost me. As I said, it might be a small thing but if I’m going to pay Honda prices I expect top service at each visit.
