I was told by a friend who purchases cars that he doesn’t touch Kias, saying they are solid cars but the service at the dealers is horrible. Wasn’t sure if that was true, so this was the first time I used Kia since purchasing the Sorrento. I called because of the anti-theft installation I needed. The **** the phone then asked if I needed anything else and I told her since purchasing the car my radio has been staticky; she said no problem it would be looked at. When I dropped the car off I was told it would be $175 just to look at the stereo, and it may or may not be covered. Then I went to give the keys, and since my appointment was the following morning, rather than taking my keys I was told I had to fill out a form and place the keys in a drop box- strange. The next day I was called and told the anti-left could not be installed because of a “glitch” with automatic starts. So the 2 things I made arrangements to bring the car in and be addressed could not be done. But then a little later I was sent an estimate for nearly $600 on items that needed to be replaced. 1 of the items was windshield wipers, which was quite surprising since I literally purchased them top of the line just 3.5 weeks ago. When I asked the service person if my wipers were worn when picking the car up, he said they were and needed replacement. So I let him know I just purchased them and they work perfectly, but he just doubled down which blew me away! No

Car came out scratched on the whole right side. There is a continuous scratch on back and both doors on the right side. There is also a huge scratch on the right side by the light
