Why did I even have to bring this car in? Why didn't you check all the door locks before you sold it to me? Why did I have to pay $115 to get my car back after your screw up? Hi, I am writing because I think there could have been better communication by the service agent, Shirley Diaz. I drove home very upset and frustrated. When I came in the morning to drop the car off, I explained to her that there was a notification on the dash that stated “Front Camera unavailable. See owner’s manual”. I sat down at her desk where she showed me paperwork for drop-off. She said “It says $230.00 but don’t worry about that”. I then asked how much the tire rotation and inspection was and she said it was covered under Toyota Care so free until 2 years or 25,000 miles. Then I left my car and came home. She called me to tell me the car was ready and didn’t tell me anything about price. When I got there, she said the technician said that the side “right mirror has a scratch and that’s probably why the camera is not working”. I myself could have told you that there was a scratch on the side mirror. That’s not why I brought the car in. I wanted the notification to turn off on the dashboard since I looked in the owner’s manual and could not find anything that was of help. I didn’t need to spend $230.00 to do that. I am upset that I had to pay $230.00 for something that was so minimal and that wasn’t explained thoroughly to me by Shirley. I really don’t feel comfortable bringing my car back to Northridge Toyota if customers are taken advantage of like this. Please let me know if you have any other questions, Aleen M

I was disappointed with my experience working with Glenn. I initially visited to have a specific issue checked out, yet he failed to address it until I brought it up myself. Instead of identifying or explaining the concern I came in for, he focused on unrelated services and other issues, which felt like an attempt to upsell rather than assist. When I asked questions, his responses were defensive and lacked accountability. In contrast, other associates I’ve worked with were far more helpful and showed genuine care, which made a significant difference.

The mechanic Issac was very thorough. When we went on a test drive he listened to my concerns and addressed them. I felt that my vehicle was in good hands. I would recommend your dealership to anyone who owns a Toyota that needs servicing.

Shirley was sooo patient with me. It was super early and I am NOT a morning person. The entire process from drop off to picking my car back up took less than 90 minutes. She too fantastic care of my Uber to and from. In all seriousness, I have worked in hospitality for the last four decades, people like Shirley are hard to come by. Peace.
