After I had dropped my Camry off, Tod called me with some bad, and potentially expensive, news about my vehicle and asked for information regarding previous service records. This was slightly confusing (not to mention concerning), but when I found my records and called back, Tod had just found out that there was a mix up with the paperwork and the problem was with someone else's vehicle. When I picked the vehicle up, Tod apologized profusely and was obviously upset about the error, and there are certainly no hard feelings on my part. These things happen - such is life. However, it made for a slightly less than ideal experience. Otherwise, the service, as ever, was fine. As a footnote, I have been coming to Toyota of Santa Barbara for about 36 years, through two changes of ownership and many service advisors and managers, and the service department has been consistently first rate.

Very dissatisfied and at a loss how to move forward. During the sale, we understood sensors were installed in the car. They aren’t! Now we’re being given a run around where/how to have them installed. I’ve never had such disappointing service with Toyota. No one will help us.

When dropping my car at 8:15, I asked if I could pick it up between 1 and 2 as I had another appointment at 2:15. I was told this wouldn’t be a problem. I did not receive notice my vehicle was ready until 1:45 pm and my vehicle was not brought out from the back for pick up until 2:30pm. If I’d been told my desired time frame for pick up was not reasonable I would have made other arrangements. It would have been nice to know in advance.

Technicians assigned to us are consistently late even though we’re on time for our appointments. Rachel, Robert have not shown up in the mornings. No one cares or apologizes. Pablo is the one who is on time and professional. Please speak to your staff.
