The greeter when you pull your car up, I think her name was Alicia, she was super kind and very helpful. She made sure the courtesy driver didn’t leave without me. Angela was great at getting me appointment and was helpful at make sure my truck was done in a timely manner.

Well, as per usual the ladies at the check in were very helpful and timely. However, as expected there was a bit of a snag. I went into today for my scheduled maintenance as well as needing a new tire on my back passenger side. While checking in with Angela, I was informed that my car also had some sort of a fuel recall thing, and that would also be taken care of. This time around I got smart and had my husband pick me up from the service area considering each time I have ever been there in the last two cars that I have owned each appointment is no less than three hours no matter what you’re having done. Even though the same work can be done at a Walmart in 15 minutes. I was also informed today that when my tires are rotated, they are not being balanced because that’s not part of the package that I pay for every month in my car note which surprised to me because I always thought you needed to do a rotation and balance as regular maintenance. Yet when you walk in off the street and you get one you pay $69.99 and you get both because they come together, but I digress. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the call about two hours later saying that my car was done and ready for pick up. I arrived at Kia got my car which it was pouring down rain so I did not inspect the tires or car. Got to the grocery store and when I walked out after getting my groceries, which was about 25 minutes later, the tire was flat same tire same issue so I start to inspect and I realize not a single tire on my car is new. I then began to call Kia to which I only one time was able to speak with a real person and the other 6 got answering machines when I arrived at Kia. I explained to the young man what happened and he went and got Angela for me who was honestly just as bewildered as I was. Angela right away got on the phone and contacted somebody who came over to figure out what the heck she was talking about because it didn’t make any sense and I humbly got my groceries out of the trunk so my husband could come pick them up…… as I stood on the corner with bags of groceries one of your other employees throws in a oh wow, you got groceries there which was really needed. Now I do admit that by this time I was slightly frustrated. I would like to say that the problem was solved quickly within 40 mins. Also I would like to point out that watching the sales guys chain smoke out front and walking in and out it to mention getting g in and out of new cars…. Super gross. At one point there were more employees smoking cigarettes right in front of the service entrance door. Oh AND I watch two elderly people not being able to leave with their cars. Ones because the gentleman who pulled up her car LEFT WITH THE KEYS….. like left. She waited 10 mins just for someone to pay attention to the fact she was still standing outside her car. Then another costumer was confused because he got a regular maintenance yet his oil light was still on and he didn’t have a sticker, lord knows if anything was even done to his car. I’m sure it was but for real what is going on over there? It’s a shame because I know these guys are busy and clearly there are to many cars scheduled at once. Today was one of the worst experiences with KIA besides the time I spent 6 hours there, and then was held hostage while my “associate” was in a meeting with my key. I almost called 911 because they refused to go into the meeting to get my keys. This was after 6 literally hours. That was years ago and I almost didn’t buy a KIA again because of the dang service center. I will say if nothing else it’s consistent…… very frustrated customer. Angela was very helpful and kind, but lord that was one for the books.
