We are 15-year customers. I was very surprised when, as I was paying for my repairs/maintenance, that the technician began to “assign” a numeric code and explain if I wanted my car washed I could do it myself! He shared Metro is “tight on time” so this would free Metro up (I assume to make more money). You’ve missed the boat on this one. I always looked forward to a better running car and a clean one as I left the lot. Metro should understand it’s the little niceties that keep customers coming back. Do-it-yourself car washes isn’t what I expected. Metro could do the best repairs ever (which is the case for my cars) but you’re now discounting the customer’s experience and the nice feeling of special treatment. You’re obviously making money so hire a car wash employee who is tasked solely to keep the customers happy when they leave. A clean car provided by a Metro employee makes customers feel better about paying big bucks for maintenance. Too bad Metro Honda has forgotten to cherish its customers by having a Metro employee get the car washed. Left a sour taste in this customer’s mouth today. Poor decision.
