Customers would appreciate if we get updates on the status of service that our cars are receiving an approximate time it should be ready. I was not happy with the lack of communication regarding the status of the services of my car. My car was drop off at 7:30Am. I received a text message at 11:02 AM “Status: Hi Yohana, thank you for choosing Santa Maria Ford Lincoln. If you have any questions, reply to this message. Msg/data rates may apply. To cancel reply "STOP". ****-****-xxxx “I sent a text message requesting an update on the status of my car at 2:49pm no answer. I had to call 3 times and left a voicemail because it was close to 5:00pm and I still had not gotten an update. I finally got a call back at 4:57PM that my car was ready. I took my car for a recall notice, when I got the call they told me it takes 5 hours to get the job done and that it was a busy day. I would have understood all of that if the information was given to me ahead of time and I could have planned accordingly. Nonetheless if my car was drop off at 7:30am and it takes 5 hours my car should have been ready by 3:00pm.
I hope this feedback is useful and that the communication can improve.
