I am a mechanic and have my own business man with the plan auto repair. I replaced batteries and terminals before towing van to shop. I had replacement alternator tested at advance auto 10 times before bringing it to you. After installation is was called and told alternator is
Brought to you was bad. And would have to pay double labor to switch it again was offered 1 of your alternator which was in stock with 3 year parts and labor warranty. Next is followed him to my van and was going to make video of my vehicle not charging to show advance auto parts. He started my van and it was charging good as new.
He drove around lot still was charging. So I paid
Them bill. I came back later to pick it up and if used my battery charging starting system tester
And confirmed alternator was working like the test at the store showed before it was installed.
When I picked it up I drove all night until 4am
Alternator worked fine.

I just recently bought my vehicle and my harness connector to my brake light went out and I had to pay for it to be fixed and still don’t understand how when I should have some bumper to bumper warranty. This will not be the last of my mouth if I have to go up the furthest on the food chain I will. As far as Mr. Knox he didn’t do anything other than check me in. I don’t know what I suppose to grade by that because that don’t require anything special. Not pleased by my whole experience yesterday. I will start making my phone calls sending emails and telling my story on social media today.
