I originally brought my vehicle in because of dashboard lights indicating that I had a problem with the gas vapor that required a smoke test on 6/4/2025. It was determined that I needed a new gas cap. That gas cap ended up costing me 275.00. Less than a month later the same lights come on on my dashboard. I just got the vehicle in to recheck and I was told that it needed a vapor relief valve because of a very small leak in the valve. It was not repaired because the part was not in stock. I was told that it was not necessary to replace the part and that it is not a problem to drive the vehicle with a minor vapor leak. I was charged another 165.00 to tell me why my dash lights came back on. I am of the opinion that this leak would of,could of and should of been detected had it been thoroughly diagnosed in June.
