Normally, when I wait in the lounge while my car is being serviced, the service representative reports back to me regarding any suggested repairs so that I have an opportunity to approve or disapprove them. Yesterday, I was not informed of such repairs until all of the other maintenance services had been performed and my vehicle was ready to go. In this particular instance, the service technician recommended to services that we’re not critical but that will eventually need to be performed. One of the services was a recommendation to replace the inserts in the vehicles windshield wipers. I would have approved their replacement had I been given the opportunity earlier. As it was, after paying for all the work that had been done, I purchased the inserts from your parts department and installed them myself the following day. I should point out that my service representative Arbenz was at lunch for the first hour in which my car was being serviced and his assistant took care of me.
