Paul was awesome. I sat and got some work done and he helped me find the cubbies that are great for sitting and working. I had headphones in and the phones were down, and found out they were trying to get ahold of me and Paul came back to find me. Paul did a great job making me feel like I was taken care of. My service writer was very nice and explained what the tech said was done. I was also told that the 4runner has open suspension so they all squeak because dirt gets in there. It's normal. I did feel greasing rear trailing arm bushings for a squeak in the drivers side front wheel area was an interesting solution. I had the squeak repaired at another shop today. The bracket holding the brake line on the frame was loose and rubbing/squeaking every time the shock hit a bump. I had my complaint about the running board diagnosed also. Your facility said they couldn't diagnose because they couldn't duplicate the problem. The tech today verified the control module was the updated part number and then found the gear in the motor is loose and not catching at times. The play from one side to the other is different so the passenger side does not have a problem. I will plan enough time to have you re-diagnose my vehicle for the warranty repair at my next service. My paperwork says the computer update has been done but I would like someone to talk with the tech to verify please.
