What started out as a $500 estimate, ended up being over 5k with parts and labor. After having my car for 8 days.I was never offed a rental or loaner car. I’m just lucky my job allowed me to use some vacation days. After I picked up my car, the check engine light came on again while driving down the street. I reached back out to the service Mgr. Derek who helped me and no response. I called the next day and I didn’t realize he was off on Tuesday. He finally reached out to me on Wednesday and told me to bring the car back in. I had to ask for a rental and received one. Toyota had my car for another 2days because , they had to order a part that was damaged while putting the engine back together. I figured they would have at least washed the car for all the inconvenience I was put through. Nope! Although the car runs good. This was one of the most expensive and frustrating experiences I have ever been through. This is why people don’t like going to dealerships for service. Will I be back? Only time will tell. Thanks for listening.
