The vehicle was kept for 2 weeks with no communication between Friday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 11th. Then when we were promised a call back first thing in the morning we received no call until 2 hours after we called late that afternoon.
It was not made clear on dropping off the vehicle that when we declined the rental car offer that we would be without our vehicle for so long. Despite the recurring problem and the Tass case with Toyota Brand Management and the potential for bodily injury and vehicle damage, nothing was found and no remedy was made.

I was originally told on Thursday that my car should be ready by 3:30 or 4pm, then didn’t receive a call until around 5:30 pm saying my car wouldn’t be ready until the following morning. Although I did receive a call at 6:15 saying they had finished my car, since the service center was closed I couldn’t pick it up until the following morning.
I completely understand that issues arise causing delays, and it was a last minute repair without an appointment, so I’m not upset about how long it took overall, it was frustrating to (a) not have Toyota meet the expectations they set and (b) not communicate promptly once it was obvious those communications would not be met.
Also, this may not be complimentary anymore, but my car wasn’t washed before it was returned to me, which was a tad disappointing. I didn’t have time to ask about it because I was already behind my morning schedule having to pick up my car.
