Toyota parts are good but way overpriced.Toyota troubleshooting procedures don’t always give the best result for the customer .It favors the dealership by adding up labor hours and part swapping rather than pure troubleshooting based on common problems,experience and familiarity with vehicles.In my case a $1300 assembly was swapped out when the fix was simply a ribbon cable connection.A problem so common there are numerous tutorials online and companies that do the fix for $129.I could have fixed it myself but I have a condition called essential tremors which doesn’t allow me to perform such a task.I am going to come in Monday and speak see the Service Manager about this issue.

Karina was excellent. I wish I had asked what was included in the 5K inspection. I reviewed those when I purchased the truck but didn’t remember that this did not include an oil change. I am old school and just terrified about waiting 10k for an oil change. If I had remembered that detail I would have purchased one during this inspection. I suppose I’ll get one done to ease my worries.
