Ruben was excellent. Polite and fast. My vehicle work was done 10 minutes before the 9:00 promise time. But I do have another complaint. I arrived at 7:05 for a 7:20 appointment. I was finally called by Ruben Marquez at about 7:40. During those 35 minutes, various service advisors (not Ruben) assisted at least 6 customers who were parked in line behind me. All those customers were Latinas. By the time Ruben assisted me, I was pretty upset about that. I didn’t give Ruben a hard time as it wasn’t his fault. But I knew I would receive this survey, so there it is.

I don’t think I could fit everything here but I was very unhappy with my experience with him today. From the moment I started speaking, he had a smirk on his face and it made me uncomfortable. I had two questions and he answered both questions in a very rude manner. The first question I asked was regarding the brake fluid and I explained to him that Heather had said she thought maybe something was stuck or it was dirty and that’s why my car indicated “A7” bc my car has very low mileage and I haven’t even had it for two years and he asked when I got it, I responded saying 2022. Then he looked at me, laughed, and then said “yeah that’s a long time, it definitely needs a brake fluid” and he was trying to make me sound dumb but I went based on what Heather told me (another employee at this Honda store - who was very sweet) so it wasn’t my fault for thinking that way about the brake fluid bc I was going based off what another employee told me. Then I asked him if he knew whether I could get another little tag because when I purchased my car, it came with a little tag which said my car keys code and when I bought my car, the person in sales who sold me my car told me to not lose it because if I lost it, I wasn’t going to be able to turn on my car so AGAIN I was going based on what YOUR employee had said and he smirked and laughed again and said that he had never seen that in his life and I quote he said “I CAN GUARANTEE THAT YOU DIDNT GET THAT FROM US” and I corrected him because I did purchase my car with Honda Cerritos and he said that because he hadn’t seen it that NOBODY there would know what it was, as if HE accounts for EVERYONE????? Again he was being condescending and passive aggressive and so I told him that if he didn’t know about it, if he could please ask someone who does know about it, someone who has been there since 2022 bc that’s when I bought my car and it came with that little tag. He AGAIN said that because he had never seen it that nobody there would know what it was and then he asked the first employee that crossed his path whether he knew what it was and GUESS WHAT, the boy DID know what it was and he was so pressed and then said “see he know what it is, it’s just a code” so he contradicted himself because he said NOBODY knew what it was but then the first person he asks says he does know what it was. I hope you PLEASE knock some sense into this person because I have truly NEVER had a good experience with every single man who has “helped” me out if that’s what you want to call it. Every single person there just wants to get the most money they can from you and I’m tired of it. I deeply regret buying my car at Cerritos and I also hated my experience with Ramiro the last time I went to that Cerritos too. I hope you read this and do something about it because every guy there has been an absolute **** to me and that’s an understatement
