Vehicle was dropped off in the morning to check for potential recall for radio issue, Instead of reaching out to explain that the issue is not related to the recall and going over possible solutions, He sent a text message saying that the vehicle was ready and that I owed 170. Since he sent a text message saying that the vehicle had been serviced and ready for pick up. I was under the impression that the vehicle repairs have been completed.
I asked what the fees were, and he simply said that he would explain at the time of pick up. I understand the needed part for repair is on backorder, but the advisor could have let me know that no repairs were being carried out that the existing issue is not covered under the recall.
