I’ve been a loyal customer at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Cerritos since purchasing my vehicle there back in 2015, but after my most recent service appointment on July 15, 2025, I’m left incredibly disappointed—and seriously questioning whether I’ll return.
I had a 3:00 PM appointment for regular maintenance. Ruben Marquez was my service advisor, who mentioned having 20 years of experience with this dealership. Based on that, I expected professionalism and quality service. What I got was the exact opposite.
The visit was supposed to include a standard oil change, free tire rotation (since I bought my tires there), fluid top-offs, and a multi-point inspection with a detailed report. It wasn’t even busy at the time, so there’s no excuse for the lack of attention.
Here’s what was missing:
• No multi-point inspection sheet — I got nothing from the technician.
• No battery test results — These are usually part of every service.
• No update on fluid levels, wear items, or when my next service is due.
• No sign that any fluids were topped off at all.
• And frankly, now I’m left wondering if the oil change was even done.
It honestly feels like they just drove my car into a bay, let it sit for two hours, and handed it back without touching it.
Back in 2015, the service team at this dealership was sharp, communicative, and thorough. Today, it feels like those people are long gone—along with the quality of service they provided. Whether it’s a change in management or staff, something has clearly gone wrong.
Norm Reeves is a big name, but the experience I had doesn’t reflect that at all. If this is the “new standard,” I’ll be seriously considering taking my business elsewhere.
