Dear Honda Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the poor service I received at Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos, specifically from the service advisor Michael Barr. During my visit, I clearly explained that my main concern was a persistent noise coming from the front console of my vehicle. I also mentioned a few minor issues. Initially, Michael gave me an estimate of around $750, which I found very expensive. After I declined the A/C-related service, the cost was reduced to about $320. I left the car and returned home. Two hours later, I received a message saying my vehicle was ready. I went back, paid the fee, and picked up the car. However, I quickly noticed that the noise issue had not been resolved at all. I immediately returned and spoke to Michael again. He acknowledged that the noise was noted on the service form, but told me that “noises heard by ear are not important,” which I found unacceptable and dismissive. When I reviewed the invoice more closely, I noticed a $189 charge for an Apple CarPlay issue, which was never properly explained to me. This charge was written on the back of the paperwork, and I only found out about it afterward. I told Michael that I would have never approved such a charge for such a small issue. I asked for a refund, but he refused and told me it was not his concern. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, and didn’t even bother to shake my hand. To make matters worse, the Apple CarPlay issue was not fixed at all—the screen wasn’t even reset. I ended up paying $326, and it feels like I threw away $190 for no solution. I want to express that I am going through difficult times in my life right now, and dealing with dishonest and careless service like this makes things even harder. It truly saddens me to waste money in this way. This entire experience does not reflect the quality and trust I associate with the Honda brand. I kindly request your assistance regarding this matter and hope to receive a prompt and fair resolution.
