Miguel is rude and talks to you in a condescending tone. I came in today 8/19/2025 for an oil change. Miguel tried to pitch the recommended maintenance to me, but I declined due to financial reasons. As soon as I declined, he said “Well you have been declining our services since April. You only come here for oil changes,” in the most condescending way possible. I do not even live in the area, but I trust Norm Reeves Cerritos because I purchased my vehicle here. If it bothers him so much that I only come in for oil changes, I can gladly get them done at a different Honda dealership. In my eyes, Miguel doesn’t have consistent customer service skills, especially after I declined the services. I felt like Miguel just saw me as a walking dollar sign and took out his frustration on me when I declined services, due to financial reasons. Even after I told him I do not plan on getting the additional services done today, he mumbled, “You should at least get your brake fluid today since you declined it back in April.” I’m sorry but even after I told him no, he still tried to pressure me into getting a service I could not afford at the moment. He ends the conversation with “It’ll be ready in two hours, we’ll call you.” The service ended up being less than an hour and I noticed my car in the parking lot for at least 5 mins. Ten minutes later, I turned to look in his direction and that’s when he shouted at me “Your vehicle is ready.” When I walked up to his desk, I noticed only the top portion of my key fob was there. Other times, I am given back my entire lanyard. He quickly said “sign here” and I asked him, “Is there a reason why they removed the rest of my keys?” He said, “So we don’t lose it” in the most mocking way imaginable. I said “Oh that’s weird because they never hand me back my keys like that.” And he said “well they’re in the car.” He tried to push me away by just handing me the receipt. I stopped to ask him for a print out of the multi inspection report. Again, Miguel talks to me in a rude tone and says , “I sent it to your phone.” I said,”I know but I would like a print out of it.” I end up getting the print out, but to me, this is the worst experience I have had. There has been another occasion where Miguel was my service advisor and had the same condescending tone when talking to me. He had mentioned an alignment and air cabin filter, and when I told him I had done those services, he said “No you didn’t it shows you declined.” I’m not sure if it’s because i’m young AND a woman so he thinks it’s okay to talk to me like that, but honestly it makes me not even want to come back to this location or have to deal with him again.
