I was qouted a battery replacement price of $70 by Paul via phone. When I came in and mentioned that to Art, he said the price quoted was incorrect and should be $85. I felt cheated and lied to as Paul had also noted the price on my account. Whether it was incorrect or not, it should have been honored. This makes me feel that prices are just given to get customers through the door and once you're there it's not your problem to honor it. Art showed no care that I repeatedly asked why I was quoted incorrectly in the first place. If it was offered, it should have been honored. Whether it was incorrect or not is an internal issue. Either dont quote customers incorrectly but the least that could have been done is to honor it at that point. Not sure why it wasn't since it was only $15 difference especially compared to the amount I spent that day and have also been a longtime customer. Being in the market for a new car, this is one dealership I will definitely NOT be buying my car from. No way do I want to even deal with people who will offer me one price and the second I get there say oops sorry incorrect price. I can and will take my business elsewhere especially over a pity $15.
