After completing my service my left passenger door is not unlocking or locking with the key or the button inside of the car. I have to manually unlock and lock the door. I was told I would have to bring my car back AGAIN; this will be my third visit for October. It’s a huge inconvenience since I work full time and I am a mother. My car is new, only one year old, and now I am starting to have back to back issues. I keep up my maintenance on the car so I am very confused and annoyed with these problems.

This experience was definitely not that great of an experience for me to say the least. I originally brought my car to the dealership in July/August because something sounded funny. The technicians took it on a test drive, they found no sound that was in need of a repair. They also allowed me to test drive with them since they couldn’t hear the sound and I was able to point it out right away. After the drive, they said nothing to worry about and sent me home. I wanted it to be on record so that if anything happened, they would have this information. I then brought my car in in August to get an oil change and from there they advised the noise was actually something and there was something bent underneath my car and that’s probably what the noise was. So they said it would be a few hundred to fix it so we made an appointment for Sept 20th since I would be back from a trip by then. When I got back on September 13th I took my car for a meeting and my car made this crazy noise where I had to pull over, couldn’t drive it, and had my car towed to the dealership. The next morning sept 14th, I requested to speak to a manager because I assumed this happened because of me not getting the first thing fixed when I first heard a noise. I brought my dad as well with me and the supervisor I got was Eric. He started off really nice showing me what was wrong but then when my dad suggested that we would only one one thing fixed he advised he was going to note it and the dealership doesn’t do that and just kind of got a little rude until I said hey you’re being a little rude and he changed his tone. Now the issue with this is my car was in the shop for an entire month. There was no Lyft or Uber offered, no loaner car offer; and Everytime they fixed one thing; something else was wrong. My car would have been there even longer then a month if I didn’t give the upfront money that they were waiting on from the insurance which the check just came in today they advised. They advised soon as the check arrived, they would give me the check but today I receive a call from Eric stating that it would take an additional 10 business days to get the check. Luckily the check can be voided because my insurance reimbursed me. To say the least, I have been dealing with only Cerritos Nissan and it was very sad and frustrating to have to always call for updates or leave messages to receive updates. Jacob took over while Eric was out and Al thought he was pleasant and things were behind his control, this experience was not a pleasant and I may utilize a different dealership because I have a service that’s due right now and I’m unsure if I want to deal with Cerritos again.

Jody did a great job. The previous experience with Clay was not good. It took 3 visits to get my front door locks fixed under the recall. Jody finally took care of it in 1 day.
