I was told my front and rear differential were both leaking as well as needing a 4x4 service and a xoolant flush because it was discolored. The warranty covered the radiator issue which is what I initially brought it in form(red fluid leaking). When I asked a friend about differential fluid leaking he said that should not have happened because I don’t off road the Jeep or ride it hard. I took it to another shop once the warranty work was finished and lo and behold only one differential was leaking the coolant was not discolored and was half full and since I don’t off-road the 4x4 service was not necessary either. The $650 in necessary services at the dealership ended up costing $125 elsewhere. They have a customer for life and I’ve lost trust with the dealership recommending what truly needs to be done vs running up a bill for the sake of commission. Well I hope it was worth it because now they’ll get 100% of zero commission from this former customer and never recommending that dealership shop again. Trust is huge for us laypeople who rely on car experts to help us not take advantage of us. An entire school community now knows the experience. I was happy to share with my staff and families in north scottsdale and recommend another place.
