After being told my the salesman, the service department, and numerous emails, texts, and calls that my first service would be free, I was disappointed to find out that in fact it would cost me $59.95 to balance my tires, which was recommended service but not included. I’m not saying that $58.95 is an unfair price, but why not represent it honestly and just say that your first service will be only $59.95? Why be deceptive? Why misrepresent it? I find it very disappointing. It makes me not trust you. In addition to that, I had 1 tech question - how do you turn down the volume on the navigation from the phone when it’s plugged into the car? Tim said he would show me, so we went to the car and after 10 minutes of trying to figure it out, he said he would ask the tech expert. So then he came to my car and he couldn’t figure it out either. He kept me there for 1/2 an hour while my wife was waiting for me, while he tried to Google the answer. He kept giving me excuses like this was an Apple problem, not a Lexus problem. But when the phone is not connected to the Lexus it’s easy to control the volume, it’s only when the phone is connected to the car that it doesn’t work. Finally he found a solution, but it is so complicated that it would be impossible to adjust the volume while driving. Even the tech expert could barely get that little touchpad to go where he wanted it to go, and that was without trying to drive the car at the same time. So unfortunately I am also disappointed with the way the tech controls work. I’m really sorry to tell you all this. I really wanted to love everything about the service and the car. I was really looking forward to enjoying the service experience. It was not at all what I was expecting.
