After discussing my previous service with Mr. Jacobson, this recent visit was set up with Ronnie again. I addressed the scratched Navigation area, and tear on the front passenger seat during the dash pad installation. The seat was repaired and has torn again in the same spot. The perforated seat needs to be replaced. The Nav area appears to have been attended to by trying to smooth out the scratched areas but the scars remain obvious. The driver seat control panel was secured to the base again. Good job. The driver side skid plate panel leading up to the dash was removed and reinstalled correctly. Good job. The front suspension is still making a grown sound going over bumps during cold temps. All upper control arms were replaced along with the two large lower control arms, still leaving in question if the two small lower control arms are causing the sound. Upon dealer inspection it was discovered it could be the front passenger strut. Still not convinced, the car will be inspected by an independent suspension facility.

First I can appreciate Ronnies assistance with my car, he was quite attentive and well communicative while my vehicle was in service. But to give a 10 out of 10 would mean my overall experience was perfect .....it was not. First. The front end upper control arms job was great, this definitely was an improvement by 90% I still hear a slight grown going over bumps. In addition, my dash pad was replaced, however in the process I received my vehicle back with a scratched center stack along the silver trim above the clock and around the nav screen plus a one inch slice in the front passenger seat. I also discovered that the skid plate panel going up to the new dash pad was clearly misaligned. This was either a rush job or someone in the shop does not have Lexus DNA! I was told there was no real remedy for the scratched dash trim and that It would cost me $17,000 to replace the navigation . (Laughable) I didn’t create the damage, why would I pay to replace it. The new pad looks good btw. Loaner cars, we all appreciate them while our cars are in for service. But please make sure they are cleaned out and sanitized before the next guest. I got a call that a previous driver left items in the car while I was at my office. Sure enough 3 handbags were in the trunk, I made a 15 mile trip back to Dealership to drop them off. I understand things happen, but own up to it and take care of them right the first time to avoid unnecessary repeat visits.

My last visit went rather well, I met with Hassan at 7am on Saturday to have my 4 replacement door panels installed on my LS460. He promptly took care of me and kept me informed as he always has. I decided to wait in the lounge and was surprised how quickly the process took about 1 1/2 hrs. The panels are very nice. My only concern is that the new wood inserts don’t exactly match the rest of the wood on the dash and center console. The original wood is more grainy with a now darker bronze tone. Perhaps these natural materials change color over time. Taking a photo side by side you can see a difference. Aside from that, they are a work of art. Thank you Lexus for sticking to your value and reputation as a luxury automotive leader.

It was very busy today and I understand there’s busy days and I don’t mind. My car didn’t take too long to complete but when I went to drop my vehicle off my service tech was like sorry we’re really busy on Mondays I don’t know why any one would schedule their service on a Monday well except for you. I was like yeah well Mondays are my only day off. Anyway I had other things I needed to take care of with my vehicle besides my oil change and when I told him this he told me there really wasn’t anyone to do the work today and it would probably run through to tomorrow. I understand people get sick and can’t come to work but when I made my appointment I made it to get these things looked at so it would have been nice if I could have gotten a call or email saying we can get the oil change done but won’t be able to look into your other issues at this time or let me know it would take longer so I could have arranged for that. Honestly the only reason I keep getting my oil changes here is because I pre bought oil changes when I bought my car. I wouldn’t come here otherwise. I have never had a great experience taking my car in for service here.
