First off, I wanted to say that Mario acted professionally and that this review is not a reflection of his service in particular. I am not satisfied with my service at Putnam Lexus because based on my experience at a different Lexus dealership (Newport), I feel less as though I was at a luxury dealership and more like at a regular one (and I’ve had better service at regular dealerships). In particular, my complaint is regarding the policy in which you require customers to fill up the gas back at its original place when you return the loaner car provided to you when you are there completing maintenance. When I was provided a loaner car at Newport, I was provided a loaner car and was not told I had to put gas in it when I returned it. This makes sense to me since the car was provided for my convenience while my car was being serviced. When I used to have a Toyota, I was never asked to pay for ride shares they would call for me to take me home or to work while my car was being serviced so I find it ridiculous that a luxury dealership would require their customers to inconvenience themselves by having to ensure the gas was filled back in their loaner car. Furthermore, this was not disclosed to me when I booked the appointment and I was not prepared to account for the work hours I was missing due to having to take my car in for service by bringing it with me to the dealership while waiting for my car to be done (I did not take the loaner car since I do not agree with the policy). I hope that this complaint will help you to reconsider this policy. Thank you.
