Two points to make.
1) when I went to pick up my truck. I was asked about a check engine light on. Was not on when I brought it in. My expectation is that if the service technician or advisor sees a check engine light that they would look into it and advise the client, not bring it up when picking up the vehicle.
2) always offered a wash when picking up my vehicle after service. Not this time.
