Service writers need to advise of any policy changes and disclose basic info BEFORE customer leaves a vehicle. This was not done. I received a “oh by the way we changed that”... Service writer was too eager to just get the write up done, and failed to look at the type of vehicle we had, and think about what type of service was to be done. In the end, he essentially gave us false and incorrect information and we were the ones that paid for it. Very sloppy customer service by the service writer. You need to get your people to understand the basics, and how their actions reflect on your company. This is how dealerships get bad reputations.
