Good experience. Everything went well, good service
I’ve been bringing my car since 2022 and I’m very happy everytime I had my service done but today, my appt was at 9:25am, I was there on time somehow my car isn’t ready not until past 4:30pm. It’s just a regular service, they did not change the oil because i had it last time , just tire rotation brake checkups and other, I wonder why it took 7hrs?
I asked Cristina why it took so long, she replied, because we’re busy. I should not bring in my car early if I have to wait that long.

Ernesto could have made everything fine but chose a different path. While I was upset about the part not being available for the recall, he just said let’s not jump ahead and see if the parts are in( he knew they were not) I brought in a picture of a gasket with notes at the bottom to show that tjere is starting to be a potential leak. He did not accurately write up the work order. He dis not listen to me but only looked at the picture , even after I pointed out the notes at the bottom. He write it up ( after being told) thta there was a leak! No leak, oil around the gasket.He upset me and forced my hand by accusing a Master Technician( implied) of not accurately depicting the problem and by not having the actual picture of an NX. Again, seek to understand before unnecessarily upsetting a customer! While I was mad, I told him that if I get pushed I can be a ****. That is what he got because he mismanaged a woman who actually had something important to say!
The new Service Manager was wise. He sought to understand and pointed out what Ernesto saw which was the picture. He was not condescending but resolved the issue. He recognized that by listening and acknowledging that several errors were made I could leave and know everything would be taken care of in the near future. Shame on the woman who I spoke with in Service last week who booked the appointment KNOWING that there were no parts AND failing to tell me the customer!!!!!! It wasted a full day of my time! Shame on Lexus for not getting the parts to their east county shop! If you issue a recall, then provide the parts!
I come to this dealership because it is the lone family owned Lexus. While I am a number, I have been a loyal and outspoken advocate for Lexus El Cajon. Please handle that loyalty appropriately! Thank you

Robert was great however I was rather disappointed having no coffee considering my early 9:00 appointment. I also find it quite offensive that a high end auto dealership would stoop so low as charge a 3% fee to pay with a credit card. This should not happen and if you insist on being so darn petty cheap with this kind of stuff you may consider dropping the price of your automobiles to match the customer experience. The least you should do is make the 3% charge known at appointment time.

I don’t want to speak to a representative. My only issue was that my car was not washed. When I picket up my car, I no longer had the time to go back and ask for it, but it should’ve been done initially.
