My Sorento has had an issue that can’t get resolved, only band aid fixes. This is a time waster as I have had to go out of my way to take my car in 4-5 times in less than a year. Every time this happens, my passenger side floor gets really wet. This causes mildew (hopefully not mold) that makes my asthma act up. Since the issue can’t be fixed, the blame is placed on the car getting dirty and that dirt clogging the pathway. I was even told this was caused by the wrong air filter being installed; it was the same filter the car came with. I had a great buying experience and it’s the reason I have purchased a few Kia cars and recommended them in the past. This is the first time I had to really use the warranty. Based on my experience I will not be purchasing the Telluride or recommend Kia any further. As a matter of fact, I will caution folks to be weary about purchasing a Kia because the service is inadequate. I will be talking to a Lemon Law attorney if this issue happens again.

I took my car in for two recalls and a new problem began after I took it in. Now I’m stuck with a sputtering car. It shouldn’t matter if there aren’t any error codes there’s obviously something wrong. If the lead mechanic Mike says it could be the transmission why wasn’t the transmission looked at? Why keep flashing the same software over and over. Also anyone I spoke to seemed to have little to no sympathy or concern.l as if it was no big deal that my car is sputtering. There was little to no effort to FIND and SOLVE the problem. I was also not offered a rental car. There was also mixed stories. One advisor said they WERE able to feel what I felt, the official papers say the problem was NOT replicated. I have lost all trust in Covina and it was a mistake to bring my car here. Unless I’m offered a free rental and a free diagnosis and free repair to what new problem Kia of Covina caused I will never return. I’m taking it to Cerritos where I was treated with concern and listened to to help solve the problem. SOMETHING happened after the mechanics touched it and now I have a potentially unsafe car sitting in the driveway.
