Charles was very accommodating and helpful with my service appointment, I have absolutely no complaint about his service personally.
I was, however, very disappointed to learn upon arriving this morning that while I had requested a loaner vehicle through your website as part of the process to book my appointment, there was in fact no car available to me.
When I was asked if I needed a ride, I said that I had requested a loaner through your website’s form and was told that even though I had made that request, the service center isn’t actually notified. Again, Charles was very helpful and offered to get me an Uber to work, and went out of his way to attempt to rectify the situation, which I appreciated.
It seems unbelievable to me that this would be an option listed on your site when it is not actually an option that exists, at least at the Newtown service center. I planned my day around having access to a vehicle, and I had to re-arrange my plans at 8:30 this morning.
I would recommend correcting this, or at least noting that checking off that box does not guarantee a vehicle. It’s possible I missed such a disclaimer, but I don’t remember seeing one.
What frustrated me most was that I had not even considered that would be an option until it was offered to me. I would have made other plans, but I was under the impression I would not need to.
I have purchased my last two vehicles through your Newtown location, and generally bring them there for service because of the quality of service and staff.
This was a very negative experience for me, and one that I feel could have easily been avoided.
After being in the automobile business for thirty years , I’m used to excellent service. Jack Case is a great representative of Fred Beans’ organization I am truly impressed with his performance!
