First dealer that didn’t wash car during service. Wasn’t explained cost when I received the call for repair. Battery replaced on FOB which didn’t solve problem.

Brought truck in for service on modem for FordPass. Was told system tested everything okay, and I needed to come in with my phone. When I did I was was told that the test equipment was not working and I needed to check back in a few weeks to see if the equipment was repaired.
My question is if the equipment has been down why wasn’t I told in advance that the service I wanted could not be done and to reschedule.
I did get an oil change but that could of waited.
I’ve been dealing with Fred Beans for many years and this is the first time I am not satisfied with the service.
Service was performed well and everyone took the time to make me feel welcome.

Jack Case clearly explained work that needed to be done. He was polite and very helpful. He showed me how to get my iPhone connected to my Bluetooth , that I was having trouble with. Jack exhibited customer service at its best!

Made appointment and communicated the problems. Was there on time. Took a call from me after 6 hours to know status - service advisor did not know. He called back with the problem and advised it was a 10 hour repair. I authorized repair. No contact the whole next day. No contact the following day until I texted him at noon. No response. I texted again. At 3:54 PM he responded he may have some information tomorrow. Van has been at Beans for 2-1/2 days. I called about the delay. I got “COVID-19”, short handed, our tech helping on other jobs, etc; he promised to get to it. I called the next day (Beans has had the van for 3-1/2 days). All he could say is we could have a “diagnostic” by Tuesday (a full week at Fred Beans). We told him that is unacceptable as it is the only vehicle we have to transport our very large dog. We instructed him to have it ready to pick up. He called at 6:10PM on Friday that it was ready, not repaired, just ready. We picked it up Saturday morning. There was no paperwork. He said it was locked in somebody’s office. I said “print another” he said he couldn’t as the tech had not added his notes. He offered to email paperwork Monday and I agreed. Come Monday we received fraudulent paperwork crafted to appear as we declined the recommended repairs. We did not decline - Fred beans failed to work on the vehicle for 3-1/2 days. Pure fraud on the paperwork. We went to Beans because of our great experience in December with our van and my car. Something has changed and you need to fix it.
