Katrina was amazing. I stopped going to the LaMesa location and was hesitant to use the Kearney Mesa one, but am so glad I did. Service was top notch and the good communication was unexpected. This is where I’ll be bringing my truck from now on.
Laity was very professional and respectful. There were no surprises. Everything was done in the time frame he stated. A very pleasant man to do business with.
Katrina, as always, is very helpful in describing the various service options available to me. It is always helpful to know what is a priority to get done, and what can wait a little longer. I never feel pressured to do more than I want done on my vehicle.

The techs could not ID which cylinder was misfiring, even though my “check engine” light had turned on. Therefore, instead of just replacing just one spark plug and ignition coil, I had to replace all my spark plugs and ignition coils if I wanted my vehicle to operate as intended.
The other choice I was given was to drive my vehicle until it missed fired again, then bring it back so the techs could check to see if the proper codes were being given by the computer to identity a single cylinder.
As I work in Law Enforcement, having my vehicle randomly fail, at some unknown time in the future was not an option I was willing to take, as if I don’t make it into work, someone in the County will become a victim of a new crime.
As did not want to create any more crime victims in the County, I had to choose to replace all the spark plugs and ignition coils in my vehicle. This created a huge expense, which I was not prepared to cover, as the government employs me, and my salary has been nearly frozen since 2007.
I feel that there must have been some other option available to discern which spark plug and coil were malfunctioning therefore only have to charge me to replace one set of spark plugs and coils instead of all the spark plugs and coils in the entire engine.
